Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about finding, sharing and verifying deals on DealsSpy.

Is DealsSpy free to use?

Yes. Browsing and posting deals is completely free. We keep the lights on through affiliate commissions — see our Affiliate Disclosure.

How are deals ranked?

By the community. Members upvote and downvote deals, and the hottest ones rise to the top. You can also sort by newest or most popular.

Do I need an account?

You can browse without one. To post deals, vote, comment or reveal coupon codes, create a free account. You must be 18 or older.

How do I submit a deal?

Hit "Submit", paste the link, add the price and any coupon code, and post. Our moderators review new deals before they go live to keep the feed clean.

Why was my deal not published right away?

New submissions go through moderation to filter spam, dead links and misleading prices. Most are reviewed quickly.

What are points, ranks and badges?

They reward helpful contributions. Post good deals, get upvotes, and you climb ranks and earn badges. They have no cash value.

A coupon code did not work — what should I do?

Mark it as not working and leave a comment. Community feedback keeps our codes verified and useful for the next person.

Are the prices always accurate?

Prices and stock are set by the merchant and can change or expire fast. Always confirm the final price on the merchant's site before buying.

How do affiliate links work?

Some links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes your price.

How do I report a problem or request a takedown?

Use the Report button on any deal or comment. For formal complaints or takedowns (privacy, copyright, abuse), use our grievance form.

How do I delete my account or download my data?

Self-service export and deletion tools are coming soon at /account/export-data and /account/delete. In the meantime, contact us and we'll help.
